Hi guys!
here my story: I was fat and tecnichan, stuck in the box (office) in a really nice and gray city called Padova for 3 years long. My job wasnt that bad, mostly cos I've always dreamed to work in computer field helping people out with their pc cos I like to solve problems and keep my mind busy looking for the "why" something can happens. After 3 years I understood that happens cos people dont care about exploring the medium they work with, they dont care to expand their skill in what they are doing till will exist somebody who care to fix disasters they create. And, amazingly, they do same disasters day after day, year after year. Quiet boring isnt it?
Plus, working in the office where 90% of the people are involved in something you are not intreasted like Finance and Auditing (that means "how companies do their huge money business") , talking just about same topics about their job, isnt not the right way to make friends in my case. Fortunaltely a positive side of this job it's the salary, that even if not so much, allowed me to start thinking about another dream I'v always had: a travel to Japan!
Then I was almost to giving 2.500 euros for a trip in JP 2 weeks long, and a good friend of me suggest to look for a cheapest way to reach that country. Then I asked to uncle google if there was family who can host me in Japan, so I asked for "hospitality Japan", and ...TadàN!! The second rank it was www.hospitalityclub.org
I singed up and immediately I start to chat in its chatroom. There I met lot of people enthusist about travelling. But to log on it was taking too much time , then people in the chat suggested to sing in www.couchsurfing.com !! Wow I couldnt believe about those websites! People who can host you for free and show you around their town! Just what I was thinking to do throught IRC chat, but these were better cos well organized!
While I was chatting a girl from India (Bangalore) asked me to being hosted with his housband (hc nick: snjumodi). Of course I said! I was so excited! I went to pick them up in Venice and wolk around all day long. Then I hosted them in my flat just for one night but they invited me in their "european headquarter" in Paris! Oh great! Just few second after I was booking the flight! :D
